The introduction of something new

What a few months it has been!  When I signed up to join Jamberry, I never thought that in 3 short months I would become a fully qualified Nail Technician - I still cant quite believe I did it!

I've always loved having my nails done, starting with polish and transfers as a teen, then getting acrylics a few times (which never seemed to stay on my nail, always lifting away at the cuticle within a few days), and then progressing to (Jamberry) nail wraps...  Finally, something that stays put on my nail without lifting or chipping!

It was the reactions to my Jams that got me booked onto my Nail Tech course in the first place.  That, and wanting to help people that had a fear of applying nail wraps, to show them just how easy it is to apply, and help them get the best result that they could.  And then I heard about mixing Jams with gel nails - I had well and truly been bitten by the nail bug...

So, my Nail Tech business cards have been ordered, I "think" I've sorted out a price list (that's working progress) for my newly qualified status, and now I'm practicing my newly learned skills.  Finally I have been taught how to correctly carry out a manicure, pedicure and massage, as well as apply acrylic and gel nail extensions (both sculpted and with tips), in addition to the nail art skills I already had.  Now, I just need to practice my newly found skills on a few more friends and family members, before I extend this out to my existing customers, then look for clients.  And by that time, fingers crossed, Jamberry will have increased the UK product range to include both laquers and gel.  After all, a girl can wish, and we do have a new catalogue coming out in September...

And on that note, I'm off to go and pick my next Jamicure ready for Mani Monday tomorrow.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Spreading the Jam love,
